This one-day workshop gives anyone involved in supervision a chance: to refresh existing skills; develop new skills; and to rekindle your passion for this unique relationship. Super-vision is a transforming process for both supervisor and supervisee.
A variety of creative ways of working will be explored and you will get a chance to get feedback. We will also review some of the latest discussions around the responsibility the supervisor holds, and we will look at the importance of creating a safe and containing space, which allows the supervisee to be fully open and reflective on their work with their clients.
There will be the opportunity to explore action work, artwork, and a variety of projective methods. The aim of the workshop is to give you a chance to get supervision on your supervision in a supportive and creative way. As I believe supervision should be a positive experience, I hope we can find ways to use humour and spontaneity to enliven the process. We will also look at some of the theory and thinking around presence, as an important element in the quality of the relationship.
